Welcome to the website of Loughton Union Church (Baptist)

and I hope you enjoy looking at this site.
 As you click on the different links you will get to see some of what's going on at our church
 and you will get a picture of the sort of church we are. 
Although we are called Loughton Union Church we are actually a Baptist church
 but first and foremost we are a church made up of people who love God
and do their best to live as God wants them to.

As a church we believe that the Christian faith has a lot to offer everybody
and is extremely relevant to 21st Century living.
 We are constantly looking at how we can express God's love in today's world in a way,
which is meaningful to all people, regardless of background, age, gender or belief.

LUC is made up of all sorts of people of different ages and differing likes and dislikes
but we all have one thing in common - we love Jesus! 
We are a group of people who want to see the people of Loughton
have an opportunity to hear about Jesus and what He can do for their lives.

We believe God wants us to be an expansive church,
full of energy and living our lives for Him
and it would be great to see you sometime, so come along.
